Rescue operation completed at site of Russian strike on five-story building in Kharkiv

Rescuers have eliminated the consequences of an enemy strike on a 5-story residential building in Kharkiv.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"As of 06:30 on June 23, the rescue operations at the site of the aerial bomb strike on a five-story residential building have been completed. A total of 116 rescuers and 24 units of rescue equipment were deployed at the scene," the statement said.

The Russian attack killed two people and injured 53 others, including three children.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs on June 22. A five-story residential building, a public transport stop, shops, cars, and public transport were damaged. The territory of an eco-park and an enterprise was also hit.
