Missile debris causes injuries and damages houses in Kyiv region

In the Kyiv region, as a result of the fall of fragments of Russian missiles, there are victims, damaged high-rise buildings and private houses.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration (KRSA)  Ruslan Kravchenko posted this on Facebook.

"This morning the enemy attacked our region with missiles. As of 8:00 a.m., two people have turned to doctors. Their injuries are minor. Medical aid was provided on the spot. The victims do not need hospitalisation," he said.

According to Kravchenko, six multi-storey buildings and more than 20 private houses were damaged as a result of the falling debris in one of the settlements. Windows and balconies were smashed, facades and roofs were cut.

The buildings of petrol stations, pharmacies, businesses, an administrative building and three cars were also damaged.

Operational services on the ground continue to record and eliminate the consequences of the missile attack. "All necessary assistance will be provided to the population. We are already working on this together with representatives of the local community," said Kravchenko.

The head of KRSA said that the damaged windows in the buildings would be replaced by the international GEM Foundation.

As reported by Ukrinform, last night in Kyiv region, air defence units destroyed two Kalibr missiles launched by Russia from the Sea of Azov.
