One injured in enemy strikes Nikopol, Myrove community

Russian forces have shelled Nikopol and the Myrove community in the Dnipropetrovsk region, injuring a 66-year-old woman.

Serhii Lysak, head of the region's military administration, reported this on the Telegram messaging app, according to Ukrinform.

"Until late in the evening, the aggressor continued to hit the Nikopol district with artillery and kamikaze drones. It was loud in the Myrove community -- a power line was damaged. Nikopol was hardest hit. A 66-year-old woman was injured. She was hospitalized. Her condition is moderate," he said.

Lysak clarified that the enemy had targeted the city's infrastructure. In particular, two buildings of a medical institution were damaged. A residential area also came under attack. A private house, an outbuilding and a greenhouse were destroyed. Some 15 houses and 14 outbuildings were damaged. A shop and two cars were struck. Power lines and gas pipelines were affected.
