Ukrainian forces repel 12 enemy assaults in southern direction in past 24 hrs

The Russian army has intensified its assault operations in the south of Ukraine. Over the past day, the invaders carried out six assaults in the Orikhiv sector and six more in the Krynky sector.  

The Southern Defense Forces said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

In the Orikhiv sector, the invaders carried out six attacks. They were unsuccessful.

On the left bank of the Dnipro River, in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, the occupiers launched six assaults near the village of Krynky. Having suffered losses, they retreated to their initial positions.

The Defense Forces noted that they took comprehensive measures to maintain their positions. Russian troops continue artillery attacks and air strikes. They also use various types of UAVs for the attacks and conduct aerial reconnaissance.

Continuing to terrorize civilians in the frontline areas of the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, the enemy used 249 FPV drones, 14 Lancet attack UAVs, and dropped 329 fragmentation munitions from UAVs of various modifications.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, 48 combat engagements took place on the front lines since the beginning of the day, 13 of them in the Pokrovsk sector.
