Zelensky awards 149 defenders of Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelensky has awarded 149 more defenders of Ukraine with state awards.

The relevant Decree No. 378/2024 of June 24 was published on the President's website, Ukrinform reports.

The awards are intended for personal courage in the defense of state sovereignty, territorial integrity of Ukraine and selfless performance of military duty.

In particular, the defenders were awarded the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, and Danylo Halytskyi, "For Courage" and medals "For Military Service to Ukraine," "For Impeccable Service," "To the Defender of the Fatherland," and "For Saved Life."

As reported by Ukrinform, Zelensky awarded 481 more defenders of Ukraine with state awards, 274 of them posthumously.
