Invaders shell Nikopol yesterday: lyceum, kindergarten and high-rise buildings damaged
On the evening of June 26, the Russian army shelled Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, with heavy artillery, damaging a lyceum, a kindergarten, and five high-rise buildings.
The head of the Regional State Administration, Serhii Lysak, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
According to him, air defense was operating in the region late in the evening. In the Kryvyi Rih district, an enemy Shahed-type kamikaze drone was shot down.
"In Nikopol, a lyceum and a kindergarten were damaged. Five multi-story buildings were damaged. A non-residential building and two cars were also damaged," noted Lysak.
According to the head of the Regional State Administration, the invaders have been targeting the Nikopol district since the morning. The Marhanets community was attacked with a kamikaze drone and artillery.
No one was injured.
As reported earlier, the enemy fired more than 20 times at the Nikopol region over the past day, and a girl was injured.
