Russian troops shell village in Zaporizhzhia region, there are injured
The Russian military shelled several houses of civilians in the village of Varvarivka, Polohy district, Zaporizhzhia region, injuring two residents.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"The Russians injured two residents of the village of Varvarivka, Polohy district. The occupiers fired at several civilian houses at once. The owners of the houses - a 45-year-old man and a 74-year-old woman - were injured by the shrapnel," Fedorov said.
He emphasized that residents of frontline communities suffer from enemy shelling every day, so the only way to protect their lives is to sign up for free evacuation.
During the evacuation, people receive financial, humanitarian, and social assistance.
As reported earlier, on June 26, Russian invaders attacked the Zaporizhzhia region 295 times. Six settlements were under enemy fire.
