Russian army loses 1,070 troops in Ukraine over past day

The total combat losses of Russian troops in Ukraine from 24 February 2022 to 29 June 2024 amounted to about 541,560 people, including 1,070 people in the last day.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Also, the Ukrainian Defence Forces destroyed 8,073 (+7) Russian tanks, 15,505 (+25) armoured combat vehicles, 14,480 (+57) artillery systems, 1,109 (+0) MLRS, 871 (+0) air defence systems, 360 (+0) aircraft, and 326 (+0) helicopters, Operational and tactical UAVs - 11,538 (+29), cruise missiles - 2,331 (+2), ships/boats - 28 (+0), submarines - 1 (+0), vehicles and tankers - 19,568 (+54), special equipment - 2,436 (+5).

As reported by Ukrinform, as of the evening of 28 June, 140 combat engagements took place in different parts of the frontline, with high intensity of hostilities remaining in the Pokrovske sector.
