One killed, two injured in morning shelling of Kherson region

The Russian army shelled the town of Beryslav and the village of Naddniprianske in the Kherson region early on Saturday, June 29, killing one person and injuring two others.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

"One dead and two wounded in the morning shelling of the Kherson region - proceedings have been initiated. Under the procedural leadership of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Parts 1 and 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the post said.

According to the post, at around 05:40, the Russian military attacked Beryslav with UAVs. A local resident was killed after explosives were dropped on one street.

At 07:05, the occupiers shelled Naddniprianske, injuring two people.

On June 28, Russian forces shelled Kherson and 22 other towns and villages in the Kherson region, killing four people and injuring ten others.
