Russians killed 554 children in Ukraine, wounded 1,419 more

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian army has killed 554 children in Ukraine and injured another 1419 children.

According to Ukrinform, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported this in Telegram.

"More than 1,973 children have suffered in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of June 30, 2024, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 554 children were killed and more than 1,419 were injured of varying severity," the statement reads.

Children suffered the most in Donetsk region - 550, Kharkiv - 399, Kherson - 154, Dnipro - 152, Kyiv - 130 and Zaporizhzhia - 119.

On June 29, 11 children were injured in the hostile shelling of the town of Vilniansk in Zaporizhzhia region. Two girls aged 10 and 17 and a 15-year-old boy were killed, and eight children aged 14-15 sustained injuries of varying severity.

As reported by Ukrinform, at 17:40 on June 29, the Russian army fired missiles at the center of Vilniansk. As of 09:30 on June 30, 43 people were injured, seven of them were killed (three men, one woman and three children). Thirty-six people were injured, including nine children.
