Russian forces made three assaults in Orikhiv sector, nine more on left bank of Dnipro River in past day

Russian troops attempted three assaults in the Orikhiv sector and nine more on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region in the past day. However, they suffered losses and retreated to their original positions.

The Southern Defense Forces said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“The enemy does not abandon its attempts to dislodge our units from their positions. In the Orikhiv sector, the occupiers made three assaults. They were unsuccessful,” the report says.

On the left bank of the Dnipro River, in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, the enemy made nine attacks near the village of Krynky.

It is noted that the enemy, having suffered losses, retreated to its initial positions. The defense forces continue to take comprehensive measures to maintain their positions.

Russian troops continue artillery attacks and air strikes. They also use various types of UAVs for the attacks and conduct aerial reconnaissance.

Over the past day, 251 enemy reconnaissance drones were spotted flying over the operational area.

Continuing to terrorize civilians in the frontline areas of the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, the enemy used 171 FPV drones, 2 Lancet attack UAVs, and dropped 273 fragmentation munitions from UAVs of various modifications.

As Ukrinform reported, 189 combat engagements took place on the front lines in Ukraine over the past day.
