Death toll in Russian strike on Nikopol district grows to four
Two more people were killed in the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region during a Russian artillery attack, bringing the total number of victims to four.
Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"The Pokrovsk village community in the Nikopol district. Tragic news from there. According to the updated information, two people were killed in enemy artillery shelling. A man and a woman. Four victims of Russian torturers in the district today," noted Lysak.
The enemy attack damaged five more private houses, an outbuilding, a minibus and a power line.
As Ukrinform reported, Serhiy Lysak earlier wrote that two women were killed and nine people were injured in Russia's shelling of Nikopol.
