Kharkiv allocates ₴66 million to help army

The Kharkiv City Council has allocated UAH 66 million to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The decision was made at an extraordinary session, Ukrinform reports, citing the press service of the Kharkiv City Council's Facebook page.

"We have allocated more than UAH 66 million to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is very important to support the military," said Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

In addition, the session amended the budget to prepare Kharkiv for the heating season, purchase cogeneration units and gas turbines to decentralize the heating and energy supply system.

As reported, in May, Zaporizhzhia City Council allocated UAH 50 million for the purchase of drones.
