Polish Chief of Defense arrives in Kyiv to meet with Syrskyi

The Chief of the Defence Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, General Wiesław Kukuła, arrived in Ukraine to meet with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Poland reported this on the social network X, Ukrinform reports.

“The general visited at the invitation of the Chief of Defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine , General Oleksandr Syrski. This is another important meeting of both commanders, showing solidarity and cooperation between Poland and our eastern neighbor in the face of Russian aggression,” the statement said.

As noted, Kukuła began his visit to Kyiv by laying flowers at the Wall of Remembrance for those who died for Ukraine.

As reported, at the NATO summit in Washington, Warsaw will ask for further strengthening of the Alliance's eastern flank and will also make public its position on the NATO-Ukraine Center for Analysis, Training and Education being created in Bydgoszcz (northern Poland).
