Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration hands over 120 drones to police

In Zaporizhzhia, police received 120 drones of various modifications to help them in law enforcement.

Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

It is noted that on July 5 in Zaporizhzhia, on the occasion of the National Police Day, the regional state administration honored the best law enforcement officers. Six of them were awarded by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Ivan Fedorov.

The head of the region emphasized that cooperation between the authorities and law enforcement agencies is very important for maintaining stability in the region and handed over 120 drones of various modifications to law enforcement.

These drones, the administration noted, will help police officers perform their law enforcement duties more effectively.

As reported, the Zaporizhzhia region is currently under fire from Russian troops, and the enemy terrorizes civilians almost daily, destroying homes, businesses, energy, gas and various infrastructure facilities. The police are helping the residents of the region in every way possible.

The National Police Day of Ukraine is celebrated annually on July 4, according to a presidential decree of April 4, 2018, in honor of the event of 2015, when the first patrol police officers took their first oath on St. Sophia Square in Kyiv.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the occasion of National Police Day, President Volodymyr Zelensky met with police officers and presented state awards.
