Ukrainian Defense Forces repel seven Russian assaults in South overnight

In the operational zone of the Southern Defense Forces, Ukrainian defenders repelled two Russian assaults in the Orikhiv direction and seven on the left bank of the Dnipro River yesterday.

The Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The occupiers made two assaults in the Orikhiv direction. They were unsuccessful," the message says.

On the left bank of the Dnipro River in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, Russian troops made five assaults but suffered losses and retreated to their original positions.

As Ukrinform reported, there were 139 combat clashes with Russian invaders at the front yesterday, July 5.
