Zelensky: Ukraine conducts 53 exchanges and working to release everyone from Russian captivity

Ukraine has already conducted 53 exchanges and returned 3,310 people from Russian captivity.

The video posted on the official Telegram channel of the President of Ukraine says this, Ukrinform reports.

"53 exchanges. 3,310 of our people are already at home in Ukraine, next to their families. We continue to work and look for ways to release everyone from Russian captivity - all our military and civilians, adults and children," Zelensky said.

As reported, Ukraine has recently returned 10 more Ukrainian citizens from Russian captivity, including Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Nariman Dzhelal, civilians Olena Pekh and Valerii Matiushenko, who had been in captivity since 2017-2018, priests of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, captured in Berdiansk for resisting the occupiers, Bohdan Heleta and Ivan Levytskyi, and five civilians who were captured in Belarus and deprived of their liberty: Mykola Shvets, Nataliia Zakharenko, Pavlo Kupriienko, Liudmyla Honcharenko and Kateryna Briukhanova.
