In Eastern sector, 48 combat clashes recorded since start of day

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping of Troops, 48 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of the day.

The Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping of Troops reported this on its official Telegram channel, according to Ukrinform.

"Today, 48 combat engagements with the enemy took place. The enemy army continues to shell the positions of our defenders. Today, 512 shelling attacks, 3 air strikes with the use of 3 KABs and 20 strikes by kamikaze drones have already been recorded in the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping of Troops. As a result of combat work, our missile and artillery units have completed 445 fire missions today," the statement said.

In the past day, 131 combat clashes took place in the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping of Troops. The enemy launched 51 air strikes on the Ukrainian positions using 65 KABs, 342 strikes by kamikaze drones. Over the past day, the enemy fired 3,738 times on the Ukrainian positions in the eastern operational zone. As a result of combat operations, missile and artillery units carried out 3,190 fire missions.

As reported by Ukrinform, in the operational zone of the Southern Defense Forces, Ukrainian defenders repelled two Russian attacks in the Orikhiv sector and seven more on the left bank of the Dnipro River yesterday.
