No Russian warship enters northwestern Black Sea since 2023 - Neizhpapa
Starting in 2023, no Russian warship entered the northwestern part of the Black Sea.
Vice Admiral Oleksii Neizhpapa, Commander of the Ukrainian Navy, said this in an interview with journalist Natalia Moseychuk, Ukrinform reports.
"Now, no Russian warship has entered the territory of almost 25 thousand square kilometers since 2023, which is the northwestern part of the Black Sea. This is the task that was set for the fleet," Neizhpapa said.
He noted that as long as the full-scale war continues, all "objects with the St. Andrew's flag" wherever they are are legitimate military targets of the Ukrainian Navy.
The commander noted that the Navy was also tasked with preventing Kalibr missiles from hitting Ukrainian territory.
"This task has not yet been accomplished. Preventing the landing of the troops - this task has been accomplished so far... I think it will be fulfilled in the future, they will not dare (the Russian occupiers - ed.) to land," said Oleksii Neizhpapa.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Ukrainian Navy Commander Oleksii Neizhpapa said that in order to liberate the occupied Crimea, the Kerch Bridge must be destroyed.
