Russians kill two civilians, injure eight others in Donetsk region yesterday
On July 6, Russian invaders killed two residents and injured eight more in the Donetsk region.
Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"On July 6, Russians killed two residents of the Donetsk region: in New York and Ukrainsk. Another eight people were wounded in the region over the past day," the regional governor said.
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale war, at least 2,066 people have been killed and 5,325 others wounded in the Donetsk region. These figures do not include casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
As reported by Ukrinform, Nazar Voloshyn, the spokesman for the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping of Troops, said that Russian troops are trying to increase the number of active frontline areas in the Donetsk region.
