In Nikopol, rescuers come under repeated Russian fire - two cars damaged
In Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, rescuers came under repeated fire from Russian troops.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Last night, the Russians attacked Nikopol. A fire broke out in a residential building. When rescuers were working on the spot, the enemy insidiously attacked them. As a result of the hit, a fire and rescue vehicle was damaged. Rescuers managed to go to the shelter," the statement reads.
It is noted that in order to transport personnel and surviving equipment, a truck of the State Emergency Service moved to the scene. However, the enemy again struck a targeted strike, damaging the vehicle.
Only the next attempt was it possible to evacuate rescuers. Then the occupiers continued shelling, which caused fires in the settlement. After midnight, as a result of the hit, a fire broke out at the enterprise, and several garages also caught fire. In the morning, both fires were extinguished.
As Ukrinform reported, the Russians attacked Pavlohrad at night, there was damage.
