Mine explosion kills four people in Kharkiv region, including child

A mine explosion in Kharkiv region killed four people, including a child.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"According to preliminary data from law enforcement, four people died as a result of an explosion on an enemy mine, including a child," the post reads.

It is currently known that the family was driving a car on a dirt road in a forest in the Kharkiv district.

According to the relatives of the victims, there could have been six people in the car: 4 adults and 2 children. Further search for the bodies and identification is ongoing. Investigators and rescuers are working at the scene of the tragedy.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, a woman exploded on an anti-personnel mine in Kharkiv region and was hospitalised.
