Russian army loses another 1,200 troops and aircraft in Ukraine

The total combat losses of Russian troops in Ukraine from 24 February 2022 to 8 July 2024 amounted to about 552,190 people, including 1,200 people in the last 24 hours.

This is stated on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

The Defence Forces also destroyed 8,171 (+16) Russian tanks, 15,685 (+40) armoured combat vehicles, 14,966 (+29) artillery systems, 1,115 (+0) MLRS, 880 (+1) air defence systems, 361 (+1) aircraft, and 326 (+0) helicopters, Operational and tactical UAVs - 11,893 (+31), cruise missiles - 2,353 (+1), ships/boats - 28 (+0), submarines - 1 (+0), vehicles and tankers - 20,150 (+47), special equipment - 2503 (+8).

As Ukrinform reported earlier, anti-aircraft warriors of the separate mechanised brigade named after Lieutenant General Marko Bezruchko shot down a Russian Su-25 in the Pokrovske sector of Donetsk region.
