Rescuers come under repeated Russian shelling in Mykolaiv region
The Russian forces repeatedly shelled rescuers who were extinguishing a fire in the Mykolaiv region.
The State Emergency Service in the Mykolaiv region reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"On July 7, rescuers of the 22nd State Fire and Rescue Unit went to Dmytrivka village to extinguish a fire that broke out following shelling by the occupiers. At that time, the enemy fired again," the statement said.
As noted, a fire truck was damaged. Fortunately, the firefighters themselves managed to hide and no one was injured.
After waiting out the danger, the rescuers extinguished the fire over an area of 1.5 hectares.
Four firefighters and a special vehicle were involved from the State Emergency Service.
As reported, on July 7, Russian troops attacked the Kutsurub community of the Mykolaiv region with kamikaze drones.
In Solonchaky village, a hangar, metal tanks and a GAZ truck on the territory of an agricultural enterprise were damaged. In Dniprovske village, a private house was damaged, no one was injured.
