Russian missile strike on Ukraine: 31 people killed, more than 100 injured

Russia’s large-scale attack on Ukraine killed 31 people and injured more than 100 others on Monday, July 8.

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service reported this on Facebook.

"As of 15:30, 31 people were killed and 125 others were injured in Ukraine as a result of the enemy attack," the statement said.

In Kyiv, as of 15:30, 20 people were killed and 61 others were injured.

In particular, two people were killed and 10 others were injured on the territory of the Okhmatdyt children's hospital. Four people, including three children, have been rescued.

Rescue operations are ongoing.

Earlier, the Telegram channel of Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko published information about 28 dead: 11 in Dnipropetrovsk region and 17 in Kyiv.

According to Klymenko, 62 people were injured in the Dnipropetrovsk region, 48 - in the capital, 2 - in the Kyiv region.

The shelling damaged more than 50 civilian objects, including residential buildings, a business center and two medical facilities.
