Large-scale attack: Air defense forces destroy 30 of 38 missiles fired by Russians at Ukraine

On July 8, Ukrainian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 30 out of 38 Russian missiles.

Ukrainian Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

At about 10 a.m., the enemy launched a combined missile attack on Ukraine using air-, sea- and ground-launched missiles.

In total, according to preliminary data, Russian war criminals fired 38 missiles of various types:

- 1 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal air-launched missile;

- 4 Iskander-M ballistic missiles;

- 1 3M22 Zircon cruise missile;

- 13 Kh-101 cruise missiles;

- 14 Kalibr cruise missiles;

- 2 Kh-22 cruise missiles;

- 3 Kh-59/Kh-69 guided missiles.

Air defense intercepted and destroyed 30 enemy missiles:

- 1 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal air-launched missile:

- 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles;

- 11 Kh-101 cruise missiles;

- 12 Kalibr cruise missiles;

- 3 Kh-59/Kh-69 guided missiles.

As Ukrinform reported, on the morning of July 8, Russian troops launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine. At least 31 people were killed and more than 100 injured.
