Russia shells Pokrovsk with Smerch MLRS: police show consequences
In the city of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, three people were killed and two others were injured as a result of Russian shelling.
This was reported by the National Police, according to Ukrinform.
The Russian army attacked the city using multiple launch rocket systems. A private enterprise was hit.
"Three employees died on the spot as a result of the explosion. Information on the exact number of victims is being clarified," the National Police said.
It was established that the enemy fire destroyed the building and damaged civilian vehicles.
Explosive experts, an investigative team and all relevant services were working at the scene.
The materials collected by the police will be transferred to the Security Service of Ukraine for pre-trial investigation.
The legal classification of this war crime by the Russian Federation is Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which defines it as a violation of the laws and customs of war.
