Russians shell Nikopol district with artillery and drones, one injured

A 65-year-old man was injured as a result of shelling by Russian troops in the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The terror of the Nikopol district did not stop today - with artillery and kamikaze drones. It was loud in the district center, Pokrov, and Myrove communities. A 65-year-old man was injured. He will be treated on an outpatient basis," Lysak wrote.

According to him, the shelling damaged five private houses, a multi-story building, a private enterprise, and a power line. An abandoned building and dry grass caught fire. The fire was extinguished.

"In Dnipro, according to updated information, a dozen high-rise buildings, two dormitories, a college, a shop, and a car were also damaged in the morning attack. A dozen and a half cars and a medical facility were also damaged in Kryvyi Rih," added Lysak.

As reported, tomorrow, July 9, a day of mourning will be declared in Kryvyi Rih for the victims of the Russian missile attack.
