Patriot, ammunition and drones: Germany sends new aid package to Ukraine

The German government has confirmed the transfer of the third Patriot system to Ukraine and announced a new aid package.

The list of provided military aid has been updated on the website of the federal government, Ukrinform reports.

In particular, Germany supplied Ukraine with a Patriot air defense system with spare parts and missiles, two TRML-4D air surveillance radars and 9,000 rounds of ammunition for Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns.

The package also includes ammunition for Leopard 1 main battle tanks, 55,155 rounds of 155mm ammunition, 30 Vector reconnaissance drones with spare parts, 200 mobile drone jammers, ten unmanned surface vessels, four Wisent 1 mine clearing tanks with spare parts, Bergepanzer 2 armored recovery vehicles with spare parts, ten protected vehicles, and two pick-ups.

In addition, Ukraine received SatCom satellite communication terminals, night vision goggles, various types of rifles, machine guns, rounds of 40mm ammunition, smoke grenades, explosives, and detonators.
