Missile attack on Kyiv: 27 killed, number of injured grows to 117
As of Tuesday morning, July 9, the number of victims of yesterday's Russian missile strike on Kyiv increased to 117 people. Twenty-seven people were killed.
According to Ukrinform, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported this on Telegram.
"As of the morning, 27 people were killed and 117 injured in Kyiv as a result of the missile strike," the statement said.
Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Serhiy Popko leader said in a Telegram post that four children were among the dead.
In turn, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Telegram that the body of a boy was found during the nighttime rubble removal in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city.
"As a result of yesterday's enemy attack on Kyiv, 27 people, including 4 children, were killed, 117 were injured, and 7 people were rescued," the statement said.
The rescuers noted that the aftermath is still being eliminated at three locations. A total of 377 rescuers and 76 units of SES equipment are engaged in operations.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that 27 people, including three children, were killed and 82 people were injured in Kyiv as a result of a Russian missile attack.
