Bodies of two women recovered from rubble of high-rise building in Kyiv, death toll rises to 11

In the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, the bodies of two more women have been recovered from the rubble of a high-rise building destroyed by Russian shelling on 8 July, bringing the number of dead residents to 11.

According to Ukrinform, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko reported this in his Telegram.

"Rescuers have removed the bodies of two more women from the rubble of a house in the Shevchenkivskyi district. In total, there are 11 dead residents of this house," he said.

According to the mayor, the search and rescue operation is still ongoing.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the State Emergency Service reported that the body of another dead person was found under the rubble of a high-rise building destroyed by Russian shelling on 8 July in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv.
