Death toll from missile attack on Kyiv rises to 33

The death toll from Russia’s missile attack on Kyiv on July 8 has risen to 33. Search and rescue operations are underway at the site of a destroyed residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

The State Emergency Service reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"As a result of yesterday's enemy attack on Kyiv, 32 people were killed, including 4 children, 120 were injured, including 10 children, 11 people were rescued," the statement reads.

It is noted that the search and rescue operations on the territory of the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital have been completed.

The Kyiv City Military Administration later reported that the death toll from Russia’s missile attack on Kyiv grew to 33.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the morning of July 8, Russian invaders fired 40 missiles of various types at Ukraine. The enemy missiles targeted a number of cities, including Kyiv.
