Russia's missile attack on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv and the reaction to it among Russians are part of an operation to dehumanize Ukrainians.

Ambassador of Belgium to Ukraine Peter Van De Velde said this in a comment to Ukrinform.

"I am a father myself, and I think everyone understands that this is a war crime. Unfortunately, we see reports and comments on Telegram that there are parents in Russia who do not perceive it that way. This is part of the dehumanization of Ukraine and Ukrainians. We see that this is a pattern and it is very, very disturbing," he said.

The Ambassador of Belgium, together with diplomats from the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, visited the hospital and inspected the extent of the damages.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine has established that the Russian invaders struck at Okhmatdyt with a Kh-101 strategic cruise missile.

Relevant evidence was found at the site of the tragedy, including fragments of the rear body of the Kh-101 missile with a serial number, as well as part of the rudder of the same missile.
