Russia attacks port infrastructure in Odesa region with missiles at night - two killed, one wounded

Two people died in Odesa region as a result of a Russian missile strike on the night of 10 July.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper, said this in a message on Telegram.

According to him, "at night, the enemy attacked Odesa region with missiles. The aggressor targeted the port infrastructure of Odesa district. Unfortunately, two people, a security guard and a truck driver, were killed."

Another man, a sailor on duty, was wounded, Kiper said, adding that the victim is receiving all the necessary assistance in hospital.

Warehouses, trucks and a civilian ship were damaged by the wreckage. The damage to the vessel caused a liquid leak. The consequences are being eliminated.

The head of the regional state administration once again called on residents and visitors of Odesa region to respond promptly to air raid alarms.

As Ukrinform reported, on the night of 10 July, air defence destroyed 14 out of 20 Shahed UAVs and three X-59/X-69 missiles. The missiles attacked the port infrastructure of Odesa region.
