Russian army conducted almost 2,500 attacks on settlements in Donetsk region over last day
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops struck 2,428 times at 11 settlements in Donetsk region, resulting in one death, many injuries and damage to civilian objects.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Donetsk region, Ukrinform reports.
"During the day, Russian troops struck the region 2,428 times. 11 settlements came under fire: the cities of Konstantinovka, Kramatorsk, Kurakhovo, Myrnohrad, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, the villages of Novoekonomichne, Yampil, the villages of Dalne, Memryk, Uspenivka," the statement said.
According to police, 37 civilian objects were damaged, including: 14 residential buildings, an enterprise, an educational institution, vehicles, and a gas pipeline.
The invaders dropped a KAB-250 guided missile on the city of Toretsk, killing a civilian and damaging 4 private homes and a business.
Five civilians were wounded during the shelling of Kramatorsk, including a girl born in 2018. Three apartment buildings, an educational institution, and 7 cars were destroyed.
Two civilians were injured in Chasiv Yar as a result of Russian shelling.
Myrnohrad came under four hostile attacks, including a KAB-500 bomb, Smerch and Tornado-S MLRS. The shelling damaged 4 private houses, a non-residential building, cars, and a gas pipeline.
The enemy attacked the village of Novoekonomichne with two UMPB D-30SN bombs and multiple rocket launchers, damaging an industrial facility and 4 civilian cars.
In Kostiantynivka, the Russians fired a drone, damaging a private household.
It is noted that with the help of the police, another 126 people were evacuated, including 11 children. Since the beginning of the mandatory evacuation, 174,804 people have been evacuated, including 20,759 children and 7,108 people with disabilities.
As reported by Ukrinform, on 9 July, Russian invaders killed one resident of Donetsk region and injured seven others.
