A local fire and rescue unit was destroyed in Toretsk, Donetsk region, as a result of a Russian attack.

The State Emergency Service reported this on Facebook, publishing relevant images of the consequences of the shelling, according to Ukrinform.

"Terrible ruins were left after an enemy attack on the fire and rescue unit in Toretsk town, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region," the report says.

It is noted that no one was injured among the personnel as the rescuers were forced to relocate to another unit the day before.

Emergency workers continue to eliminate the consequences of the shelling of the Toretsk community, provide first aid to the wounded and evacuate citizens.

As Ukrinform earlier reported, in the Kherson region, Russian military dropped an explosive from a drone on a firefighters' vehicle.
