PM Shmyhal pays tribute to fallen defenders in Kharkiv

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov have honored fallen Ukrainian defenders at the Alley of Heroes in Kharkiv.

The head of government reported this on his Telegram channel, according to Ukrinform.

"We honored the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine at the Alley of Heroes in Kharkiv," Shmyhal wrote.

He noted that the defenders whose memory was honored were brave and courageous people who, in the first days of Russia's full-scale invasion, fought the enemy and defended Kharkiv from the invaders.

"This place is a reminder of the price we pay for our freedom. Eternal honor to the heroes!" Shmyhal said.
