Two women injured as Russians strike Bilozerka community in Kherson region

Russian forces have attacked the Bilozerka community in Ukraine's southern Kherson region, injuring two women.

The region's military administration said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

"This morning, the Russian army struck the Bilozerka community. Shelling injured two residents of the village of Veletenske," the post said.

The women, aged 43 and 46, sought medical help. The victims suffered mine blast injuries and shrapnel injuries to the back and legs.

According to the military administration, doctors provided the women with the necessary assistance. They will undergo outpatient treatment.

On July 12, Russian forces shelled 14 settlements in the Kherson region, killing one person  and wounding six others.
