Russian drones target Ukrainian firefighters on job

In Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian kamikaze drones attacked rescuers who were putting out the blaze. One of them was injured by the strike.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service via Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

"Today, a dry grass fire broke out in the village of Kapulivka in the Pokrovsk rural territorial community of the Nikopol district. The local fire brigade and firemen from Nikopol scrambled to the scene," the report reads.

As the team was working to extinguish the fire, the enemy directed kamikaze drones at the site, leaving one of the local firefighters injured. The strike also damaged a firetruck deployed from Nikopol.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, a Russian strike destroyed a fire and rescue unit HQ in Toretsk, Donetsk region.
