Russians carry out 40 shelling attacks on Sumy region in past day

Russian troops carried out 40 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Ukraine's northeastern Sumy region on July 13, with 90 explosions recorded.

Sumy City Council announced this on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

"On July 13, the Russians carried out 40 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in the Sumy region. Ninety explosions were recorded," the post said.

In the early hours of July 14, the Russians launched two shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in the Sumy region. Eleven explosions were recorded.

Earlier reports said that Russian forces had attacked the Myropillia community in the Sumy region with FPV drones and that fires had erupted in a school and a first aid center.
