Eight people were wounded in Russian shelling of Ukraine's southern Kherson region on Sunday, July 14.

Kherson regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin announced this on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, Antonivka, Sadove, Bilozerka, Kizomys, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Darivka, Mykilske, Prydniprovske, Dniprovske, Chornobaivka, Beryslav, Tiahynka, Novovorontsovka, Chervonyi Maiak, Kostyrka, Zmiivka, Lvove, Mykhailivka and Kherson all came under enemy fire and airstrikes in the last day.

The Russian military targeted a medical facility, an administrative building, an agricultural enterprise, a high-rise building, and 22 private houses.

A gas pipeline, an outbuilding and private cars were damaged.

Eight people were injured in the strikes, Prokudin said.
