Russians kill 561 children in Ukraine and injure another 1,462

Russian invaders have killed 561 children in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion and injured at least 1,462 children.

The Office of the Prosecutor General reported this in a message on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"More than 2,023 children have suffered in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of July 15, 2024, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 561 children were killed and more than 1,462 were injured of varying severity," the statement said.

Most children were injured in the Donetsk region - 564, Kharkiv - 406, Kherson - 155, Dnipropetrovsk - 158, Kyiv - 131, Zaporizhzhia - 121.

On July 14, a 16-year-old girl was injured as a result of Russian shelling of Myrnohrad, Donetsk region.

On July 13, a nine-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl were injured as a result of shelling in Budy, Kharkiv region.

On July 13, a 16-year-old girl was injured as a result of shelling in Chornobaivka village, Kherson region.

On July 13, an 11-year-old boy was injured as a result of a missile strike on Chornomorsk, Odesa region.

As reported by Ukrinform, on July 8, Russia launched a missile attack on the Kyiv children's hospital Okhmatdyt, where children from all over Ukraine are treated.
