Defense intel comments on possibility of using Magura drones hitting Crimea Bridge

If the possibility of certain military operations targeting the Crimea Bridge is theoretically assumed, their execution would requires a complex approach and various types of weapons involved.

The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry, Yevheniy Yerin, spoke of this on the air of the national telethon, answering the question of whether the Crimea Bridge could, in theory, become the target of Magura sea drones, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"I would say that... it won’t be some single technical tool that will be used to solve this problem. In any case, there is a complex approach and a complex solution to the issue if we assume purely hypothetically. If conditionally, theoretically assume the possibility of certain operations to this end, I would say that it should be unexpected and in any case it would be a complex solution, which would involve various types of weapons," he said.

Also, Yerin noted that work is currently underway to upgrade existing models of Magura drones and develop new modifications.

As reported, on July 6, Navy Commander Oleksiy Neizhpapa said that, in order to liberate the occupied Crimea, the Crimea Bridge must be destroyed, as this is an element of Russian war logistics.
