Aftermath of Russian shelling in Kherson

As a result of a Russian strike, a fire broke out at a residential building in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson.

That’s according to the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, who reported the news on Facebook.

"This afternoon, the invaders once again targeted a residential building, setting it ablaze. Firefighters quickly scrambled to put the fire out," he wrote.

According to Prokudin, in the last day alone, firefighters deployed to extinguish the flames almost three dozen times across the region.

"Most of the fires were caused by the Russian strikes," the head of the regional administration emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Russians shelled Veletenske in Kherson region, leaving a 74-year-old woman injured.
