Air defense shoots down four Russian reconnaissance drones on southern front

Ukrainian air defenders shot down four reconnaissance drones of the Russian invaders in southern Ukraine on Tuesday, July 16.

Ukraine's Air Command South announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

In particular, air defense units destroyed three Orlan-10 drones and a ZALA drone.

According to the post, Russian forces attacked the Kherson region with a ballistic missile, likely an Iskander-M, in the afternoon and struck the Odesa region late in the evening.

The launches were carried out from temporarily occupied Crimea.

Russian forces also carried out an airstrike on the Kherson region, using guided aerial bombs.
