Russia regrouping assault groups in Kharkiv direction - Ukraine’s military
Russian occupation forces are regrouping their assault units in the Kharkiv axis.
That’s according to the Kharkiv Grouping of Troops, Ukrinform reports.
On Wednesday, Ukraine’s defense forces repelled five enemy attacks in the said area, while three more clashes have been ongoing since morning.
"The enemy is trying to regroup its assault groups from the 155th Separate Marines Brigade of the Pacific Fleet and the 18th Motorized Rifle Division of the 11th Army Corps in the area of Hlyboke, also preparing assault groups from the 138th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 6th Army for attacks in Vovchansk," Kharkiv OTU informed.
As noted, the enemy launched a missile strike and 20 airstrikes (involving 45 KAB gliding bombs) toward the positions of Ukrainian troops in the areas of Lyptsi, Vovchansk, Hlyboke, Mali Prokhody, Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory, and Veterynarne.
The enemy also launched 49 kamikaze drones and fired 446 artillery rounds.
According to the press service, Russia’s manpower losses in the area amounted to 102 killed and wounded. Also, Ukraine’s units destroyed three Russian tanks, an anti-tank weapon, seven artillery systems, 10 vehicles, and two units of specialized equipment, as well as 38 UAVs, 49 dugouts and two ammunition storage sites.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russia’s total war losses since the invasion have amounted to an estimated 562,510, including 1,110 in the past day.
