Subversive reconnaissance group activity and rotation of enemy units: Yusov describes situation in north
The Defence Forces disrupted the plans for an operation in the north, which the Russian occupation forces had planned in June. Currently, the enemy is using subversive reconnaissance groups, replenishing its units, and the Defence Forces are taking countermeasures.
According to Ukrinform, this was stated by Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, during the United News telethon, answering a question about the accumulation of enemy forces in certain areas of the northern border.
"The operation launched by the enemy on the northern Ukrainian border in June was foiled by the Ukrainian Security and Defence Forces. However, we are now seeing the activity of enemy subversive reconnaissance groups and attempts to rotate, replace, and replenish units that have suffered significant losses in manpower and equipment," Yusov said.
Of course, according to him, the Ukrainian Security and Defence Forces are closely monitoring this, preparing and taking active countermeasures.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the operational situation on the border with Russia within Sumy and Chernihiv regions remains tense, but controlled by the Defence Forces.
