Seven injured as Russians hit downtown Chuhuiv

Russian invaders have struck the central part of Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the region's military administration, announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"At around 4 o'clock in the morning, the enemy insidiously hit twice a residential area in the central part of the city," the post reads.

The strikes have injured at least seven people, including a 14-year-old boy.

All victims were hospitalized with shrapnel injuries.

The first hit came near the house. Nine cars burned down. The strike damaged the window glazing of nine-story and five-story buildings, the roof and window glazing of a two-story residential building, and two shops.

The second strike damaged administrative buildings, the glazing of an unfinished five-story building, and a private house.
