One killed, eight wounded in enemy shelling of Kherson region

Russian forces shelled 17 settlements in the Kherson region on July 18, killing one person and wounding eight others, including a child.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the region's military administration, announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Veletenske, Kizomys, Komyshany, Shevchenkivka, Shliakhove, Chervonyi Maiak, Mykhailivka, Mykilske, Novovorontsovka, Oleksandrivka, Antonivka, Sadove, Stanislav, Poniativka, and Kherson came under enemy fire and airstrikes.

The Russian military targeted an administrative building, a mobile first aid center and a TV tower. They also fired at residential areas in the region's settlements, including three high-rise buildings and 11 private houses. Gas pipelines, outbuildings and private cars were damaged.
