In the temporarily occupied Crimea, the positions of the Russian invaders burned down due to a fire at Cape Chauda.

The Crimean Wind monitoring group reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“As a result of the fires on July 16, the positions of the occupiers probably burned out on Cape Chauda,” the statement said.

It is noted that the main facility, the Chornomorskaya power substation, survived because there are two lines of firebreaks. The nearby positions burned down completely.

Earlier it was reported that large-scale fires broke out in the Russian-occupied Crimea on Monday, July 15. The area of the fire at the military training ground on Cape Chauda has increased several times.
